Four Generations

Chloe! I just love her and the camera loves her.
A new ALL time favorite for me.

It's no secret around here that I am ALL for including extended family in your family sessions... I think it is by far one of the most overlooked, yet VERY important things you can do as and for your family.

You will probably recognize little Miss Chloe! The Camera loves her and you can see where she gets her beautiful looks! When I pulled up to the house to meet the rest of Chloe's family I knew I would be crazy about her family! Chloe's grandma (Kylee's mom), her license plate says: Grankids... LOVE IT!!! Talk about a passion for family and the kids within it.

So blog readers... let this be a challenge to you, get your extended family together and plan a outdoor photo session for sometime between now and fall. It's so important and we never know how much time we all have. There's your challenge for the week! Call your mom, grandma, grandpa... whoever and get it planned!
Thank you Gary, Kylee, Grandma, Great-Grandma, Great-Grandpa and kiddos for taking the time to do your family session and allowing me to capture your history for you! It was a pleasure.

10 years ago to the day...

Travis and Andrea met.

I had the huge honor of photographing their special day yesterday. I'm a people watcher and if you know me well you know that I love to analyze couples ;-) Dork.. yes I am. But, something about this couple was really neat to watch. Neither one of them are super crazy about having all eyes on them... I think it probably creates anxiety for both fo them. However, as I watched them even after 10 years of being together and undoubtedly very comfortable with each other... there is a sweetness about them as a couple. I don't think it's something you can see without really watching, but those little glances of the love they have for each other really are beautiful. Andrea warned me that Travis wasn't a huge fan of being in front of the camera... I just want to give a big shout out to Travis right here... Travis... THANK you for being such a good sport! You really did amazing considering all the warnings I was given! LOL

The weather forecast had everyone worried that we were going to have to go with their back up plan of an indoor wedding... however the skies opened up to beautiful clouds, sun, and blue sky. It was amazing.

It's pretty much a given that it's going to be beautiful when you hear this. The ambience this trio created was incredible.
Andrea and her mom... Twins?! I love this shot, do you see the tears in mom's eyes? So much joy and pride in her sweet girl whom I am sure has grown up all too fast. I can imagine someday when my daughter gets married... Doesn't seem possible does it mom? You raised a beautiful, geninue, and wonderful girl... you should be proud... although bittersweet. Love this shot of the bridesmaids flowers. Pink and Black for colors... simply beautiful just like the bride!

Travis is a pilot and this was part of their table decor. Love it! I just want to note his ring too... first time I have seen this type, made of tungsten and carbon fiber... interesting huh?
Officially official.
They are my favorite because they chose to see each other before the ceremony... so selfish of me to favor them because of it, but it does make my job easier not rushing and look Andrea... I got some shots of him SMILING!!!

Isn't she stunning?!

Thank you so much Mr. & Mrs. Travis Epp for letting me be part of your special day. It was truly an honor. CONGRAULATIONS!

Weston!

Here he is again! The first time we tried to do his session, he was a bit fussy... today though... he was GREAT and even alert! Amazing how much difference a week can make. This is his beautiful mommy Jenny. I went to high school with his mommy, it's been fun to see where their lives have gone and are going! Thank you Vandersteldt family!

Fun in the Sun!

Henry who is a fabulous singer and loves to go "schwimming"!
Nannie with the boys! They adore her.

How do you like Kenedey's fancy nail polish?!

Mr. G Q himself... he probably should be a model for childrens clothing... doesn't he just have "the look"?! He was totally into his session too!

We had so much fun in Florida... the highlight of our Florida trip was spending some time with my 2 nephews Harrison and Henry. I haven't gotten to spend much time with them over the past few years since they were living in Kentucky, however... now they have moved to Michigan and will be living here. I couldn't be more thrilled. Carson had so much fun playing with them and I loved him being around them because they are both such nice little guys. Very polite and sweet too!

I also did a few shots of the kids with my mom. Doesn't my mom look great... I'd love to tell you how old she is, but I think she might kill me. However, to give you a clue... im 29 and she didn't have me until in her mid twentys! Her and Kenedey still look so much alike. We often call Kenedey her mini me!

Thank you so much Nannie and Papa for having all of us invade your space for a whole week... those of you with 4 kids... I have a whole new respect for you... I honestly don't think I would be a nice mommy if I had 4 all the time! It's a ton of work!

I already miss all of you! Enjoy the pics... more to come soon (on my proofing site)!

So sweet

I got to spend some time with little Ella and her new baby brother Weston! Ella did wonderful with her session, she did everything I suggested and gave some great smiles! Love these of her.

More to come of baby Weston, he decided that it wasn't a great day to be in front of the camera, so he was a bit fussy... stay tuned, he is such a cutie.

CASH

How cool is that name?! Ok so I have forgotten how much I LOVE the 3 month olds. This little guy was SO smiley, fun, and just pure sweet! I absolutely adore him. Look at those big blue eyes. It was a lot of fun to watch his parents with him. At 3 months their little personalities just start to emerge and it's so exciting to watch them discover everything new.
Thank you Brian, Alli, and Cash. It was great meeting you and getting to know your wonderful little Cash. I am so honored to that you have chosen us to capture your little guy this first year! Can't wait to watch him grow.

It's no secret....

Insy, weensy, tiny baby parts...

that I ADORE newborns... This little guy was NO exception! I fell in love with him in no time at all... he was just Mr. Content. He slept for the first 15 minutes of his session and then he woke up and stayed awake for the entire session! Go figure right?! He never once cried or just even got upset... he just hung out and let us watch him while we waited for him to fall back asleep!
Thank you Andrea and Matt for allowing me the opportunity to capture your little one at this fresh start point in his life! Looking forward to see what the next year holds! Landon is absolutely wonderful! Enjoy your sneak peek!

A mini vacation

Downtown Cincinnati: I just loved this bridge... so much character.
We took off and headed down to Cincinnati this past weekend. We had a great time taking Carson to the Zoo and spending some time in downtown Cincinnati! Look at my little man!

Baby Jett

This little guy had his try at a session a few weeks ago when we did his family session, however he wasn't feeling good. Now... here is and he was MUCH happier this time! I can't help but be crazy about his eyes... they are just perfect for that little catch light!

Hey Wynn... remember when I said that Jett looked just like you... check out his expression in this one... how about that eyelid thing... just like dad eh? Sorry Amy ;-) Maybe at least he will get a lot of your personality!

Enjoy!
