A contest giveaway!

Brady 8 month session - Brooklyn, MI Photographer

I absolutely adore this little guy! He has grown so much everytime I see him, he and his parents live in Hart, MI so I don't get to see him in between his sessions to see how much he has grown. I remember his first session where he was pretty fussy and just adjusting to life, now... that smile and easy going personality... he is an absolute joy! Thank you Wilcox family for letting me share in preserving your memories of this special little guy!

Oh, and the frog... Brady's dad, who just so happens to be a biology teacher (so we HAD to get a picture of the frog), found that during our session... it was the tiniest frog I have ever seen!

Danielle and Tommy E-session - Manchester, MI photographer

We had a great e-session last week at Sharon Mills park in Manchester! This was only the second time I have had the opportunity to photograph pets in a session and it was fun, but challenging! See that little guy on the right, yea he's a puppy... a GREAT DANE puppy. Probably the cutest thing puppy ever. And that's Rosco on the right, he is a gentle soul and just as sweet as can be... but truthfully, they were kind of like trying to photograph a couple of 2 year olds! BUSY and my agenda was not theirs lol. I have a new respect for pet photographers ;-)

Danielle and Tommy were great to work with and are both so easy going! Looking forward to their big day!

Franklin turns ONE! - Jackson, MI Photographer

Franklin just finished up his last Bebe' Collection 12 month session! It's definitely bittersweet, but I know I will see him lots, so it's not too tough to see him "graduate" ;-)

It's been an incredible journey over this last year watching this fun loving little guy. He is his parents first baby and the joy he brings to them is such a treasure! Love you Frankie and family!

If you have spent any time around me, or here on my blog, you know families are near and dear to my heart. I thought this was the perfect place to share with all of you, a friend of mine who is in the process of adopting. I know this family will make such a wonderful home for a precious little one in their family. They have created a website that I think does a wonderful job of sharing their hearts to become parents. My hope is that we help extend the word of this deserving family who is searching for the child who is meant to become part of their family. Bebe' 2 Bus - CJ age 2! - Jackson, MI Children's Photographer

These Bebe' 2 Bus sessions always make me so proud of the commitment these families have made to consistently do photo sessions from ages 18 months to 5 years. This was CJ's 2nd session of his Bebe' 2 Bus Program, and he has DEFINITELY changed in the last few months. When we did his 18 month session last fall, he was walking, but not really into interacting with the camera. He just sort of did his own thing! This time... oh he interacted all right! He actually played and enjoyed himself and then... when he was done with me bugging him, he let me know in his own little way. He kinda errr REALLY yelled at me. He hasn't formed all the words yet, but I am pretty sure he told me, "get your camera out of my face so I can just play"!!! It was actually pretty comical and he had done an excellent job of letting me follow him around and try to chat with him! We got some wonderful stuff from his session and even included a few of his parents and his BEAUTIFUL sister Meris. Meris just graduated from Preschool and will be attending Kindergarten in the fall (tear). How do these kids grow so fast and where does the time go?!

Miss E - Brooklyn, MI Children's Photographer

Do you ever make an assumption of what someone will look like when you speak with them on the phone, and then when you meet them in person they don't look anything like you would expect?! Miss E's mom told me about her the few times we spoke on the phone before her session and for some reason I had a vision of her being a little blonde blue eyed little gal. You can imagine my surprise when I was greeted by these STUNNING hazel/blueish eyes. Miss E has such a tender heart and is truly a mommas girl. I absolutely fell in love with her! Thank you R family! It was truly a pleasure!

Andrea & Matt E-session - Tecumseh, Michigan Photographer

Andrea and Matt.... I absolutely adore them together. I met them through their little guy Landon pictured above about a year ago. I met then within the first few days that Landon was born and it has been such an incredible journey over the last year watching their little family evolve. A & M are getting married this October and I am so excited to photograph their big day. They are such a great compliment to each other, both easy going and just super nice. Can't wait for October guys!!!

da boyz - Adrian, Michigan Children's photographer

These adorable (errr cool in your case Ryan ;-) guys are cousins... their grandma really wanted a session of her two favorite guys out at their beautiful property. The water in their pond was the most beautiful aqua blue and it just really made me feel inspired. Ryan who is just about 8, was AWESOME in front of the camera and actually seemed to enjoy himself. I was a bit nervous about his session because I had met him at a Mother Son Carnival event where I was the photographer, and he was a busy guy! I had my game face on though and Ryan completely surprised me! He was so so cool! I think he just really enjoys being outside. Thanks Ryan for totally rockin' your session! You were an absolute blast!

We can't go without mentioning my sweet favorite little Landon. He makes many appearances around here and we will be celebrating his 1st birthday here in the next few weeks... already??... tear. Where does the time go?
