Brooklyn! Saline, MI Newborn Photographer

This little lady did an UNBELIEVEABLE job at her session! She stayed sleepy throughout and only had to stop to feed once :) 

With the humidity and warm days we have had this summer in Michigan, it has been perfect for taking newborns outside in... the warmth and humidity just keeps them asleep and comfy, making for perfect photos like you see above. Brooklyn was as happy as could be in her daddy's hands! This can be a challenging pose, for wiggly newborns, but the daddy instinct kicks in automatically, and we had moms hands just off to the right for safety.

My favorite type of sessions and the product of the session always comes back to the photos where parents are engaging with, playing with, and loving on their kids! 

These photos sure make me realize how quickly time flies! I started with engagement photos of Tommy and Danielle, through their wedding, and then newborn photos, and already here we are at Rozlyn's 8 month session! Time DOES FLY! Fleeting moments must be captured!

Jax! - Tecumseh, MI Newborn Photographer

This sweet boy wanted to stay awake and eat for about the first 2 hours of his session, but once we finally got to the sleepy point, it was well worth the wait! Meet Jax! I feel like I have waited for him to be here for a long time, I remember his mommy talking about being ready to have a sibling for his sweet sister, Harper! Time flies :)

If there is one thing that I have learned to really savor as I have entered adulthood, is GENUINE LOVE. It's not something that's easy to put to words to describe but, as I encounter friends, clients, family that truly radiate genuine love, it's definitely palatable. I met Julie after she found me through a Google search, and as she described her wedding over the phone, and told me about the love she and Chris share. I knew immediately this was a wedding I would REALLY enjoy shooting. As you can see from the photos, their approach was very simple, lovely, and GENUINELY "THEM"! Their ceremony took place looking over beautiful Crystal Lake where they were surrounded by family and close friends. They enjoyed the day just "being" together at the lake and enjoying their time together. Chris & Julie, it was SUCH an honor to watch you two begin the rest of your lives together.
